#SameSetSyndromeSeptember

So back in June a group of 20 crafters got together and decided to spotlight a different stamp company a month using only one or two of the same sets.  Thus the “Same Set Syndrome” social media hop was formed.

This month, September, our focus is on Kat Scrappiness and the stamp set is Christmas Gnomes.

Here is what I created, my very first slimeline card:

Same Set Syndrome - June

For the next 6 or so months a group of 20 crafters are going to spotlight different stamp companies in what we are calling “Same Set Syndrome”
This month our focus is on Joy Clair.  The stamp set I have selected is Succulent Frame, which comes as clear photo-polymer stamps or as a digital stamp set.

Here is what I created:

I even played with some Distress Oxide inks.  I think that I used Carved Pumpkin and Wild Honey, but I am not 100% sure.

I then decided to watch a million you tube videos to see what color combos went well together.  Well that was all fine and dandy, but I do not own all 60+ colors.

This card uses Candied Apple and Abandoned Coral.

This card uses Seeded Preserves and Wilted Violet.  Once I removed the sticky note I noticed that some of the ink got under my mask.  I still finished the card because I really liked the colors.

After that snafu, I stamped another mask using the sticky notes that are sticky on the WHOLE back!  Which led me to create this card.  It uses Broken China and Salty Ocean.  After I finished inking it I realized that I did not cut the card down before coloring it.  Again, I really liked how this turned out so I just adjusted my final card size.

Lastly, I used Iced Spruce and Peeled Paint.

Here is a picture of all of the card bases.

Well that is it for me, please leave a comment and follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and You Tube!

Be sure to hop to the amazing Charloette E., aka Lady Joyful, she has a You Tube video AND and a Blog post to share with you.

See you next month!
